Hello and Welcome, My Friends! August 10, 2010 (4 weeks ago)

Hello and welcome to the website of Bud Brown, also known on YouTube as Magic Maximo. I created this website to help others, like myself, find resources to learn other languages and travelling tips.

Look at the Categories on the left to find:

  • Language Learning Resources
  • Traveling Resources
  • Magic  Tricks Videos and Resources
  • Other Fun Stuff!

If you find good resources, yourself, please share with us. Together we will help each other.

Another Good Language Learning Website! May 23, 2009

I wanted to let you know of a good language learning resource I found on the web. This website is pretty good for several reasons. 1. It uses native speakers 2. It uses practical phrases (NOT "excuse me but your umbrella is sticking in my side") 3. There is a free component.

If you want, you can sign up and pay for a "premium membership" or just use the free service for a few lessons.
I’ve been using the free service for a while. I might sign up for the premium service at a later date.
Anyway, just wanted to give you a heads up. Go here.
Take care,
Bud
P.S.
I am not affiliated with this website in any way. I just want to pass on what I think is a good thing. :=)

My Gift to you! March 19, 2009

If you’re interested in learning languages like I am, then you’ll like what I found. It is the Peace Corps Language Learning Packet Called “Beyond Hello”. I has a lot of good language learning tips and advice. Here’s the link.
Enjoy!
BTW it’s in PDF format so you can read it on your computer or print it out. You’ll also need an Adobe Reader that most computers come with or you can download it free here
