I wanted to let you know of a good language learning resource I found on the web. This website is pretty good for several reasons. 1. It uses native speakers 2. It uses practical phrases (NOT "excuse me but your umbrella is sticking in my side") 3. There is a free component.

If you’re interested in learning languages like I am, then you’ll like what I found. It is the Peace Corps Language Learning Packet Called “Beyond Hello”. I has a lot of good language learning tips and advice. Here’s the link.
Enjoy!
BTW it’s in PDF format so you can read it on your computer or print it out. You’ll also need an Adobe Reader that most computers come with or you can download it freeĀ here
Hi everybody, Bud Brown here. If you’ve been watching my language videos, then you know I like to learn and teach languages. But recently, I’ve had a little time to re-think my philosophy about learning languages. Before, I used the “shotgun” approach. I tried studying ten languages at the same time, going very slowly with each one. I had several languages on the same website. Now, I’m using a different approach. I’m building a separate website for each language. Now I will be able to spend more time on each language and develop a better understanding of each one. This website, MagicMaximo.com is for learning languages in general, methods, resources and ways to learn a language faster, easier and better. I’m setting up a separate website for specific languages. www.tagalog101.info, www.Cebuano101.info, www.vietnamese101.info (and more to come) If you go there, be sure to sign up to be put on the mailing list. Only the ones on the mailing list will get special offers and information, because I KNOW they will appreciate the info, and they’re not just passing through. Ok, Take care and TTYL, Bud
